As We Start the Year...

Take a few minutes to reflect upon your experiences/expectations thus far and respond answering the following questions for me and your fellow classmates, please:

1. What are your fears about AP Euro this year? Hopes? ("Failing" is not an acceptable answer)
2. What do you hope to gain from this course?
3. What areas of European History are you familiar with?
4. What specifically are you looking forward to learning about?

Please respond in a paragraph. Make certain that you sign your post with your first and last name. You may comment as a guest or create an account, it's up to you, but MAKE SURE YOUR NAME IS ON YOUR POST so I can give credit! All responses are due by 10:00 p.m. on Monday, September 3rd (Labor Day).

Make sure you read through your classmates comments as well and feel free to comment constructively and encourage. This blog is your class forum-- don't be afraid to use it! :) I look forward to your responses!

My biggest accomplishment is: being a good friend and daughter ( or at least I like to think I am). Working hard at being a good teacher.
My hope for this class: that you develop an understanding and interest (passion?) for European History and grow as a student.
My fear for this class: that you will not be open and participate.
What should you know about me? I'm a history and culture geek. I'm obsessed with movies and music and books. I play classical piano. I am very close to my family and friends and I believe that hard work makes you who you are. I am looking forward to getting to know you!
I don't respect people who are lazy, blame others, or don't try their hardest.
